Each year, MCRPC releases a draft of the Transportation Improvement Program, or TIP, a compilation of the transportation improvements to be implemented in the Bloomington-Normal urban area over the next five years. We now are posting the draft of the TIP report for 30 days of public review and comment, to conclude on June 27, 2019. The MCRPC Transportation Policy Committee will meet on June 28, 2019 at 11:30 am to consider adoption of the draft.
Please noted that the draft includes the project information from our local governments and agencies. The Illinois Department of Transportation component is not yet available. When the IDOT information reaches us, we will update here.
We will be updating the draft as the review period continues and information becomes available. This page will include a log of the changes or additions made, whether to supplement the draft or in response to public input.
On June 21st there will be a public hearing regarding the draft TIP report. We hope you can attend and comment on the draft. Further details of the hearing will be posted here and advertised in the Pantagraph.
