Finding Birds in McLean County: An Ornithologist’s Overview

April 15, 2021

Did you know thousands of birds will migrate through McLean County this Spring? More than 314 species of birds have been recorded in the county - some common and some rare.

Join us April 15, 2021 from 7-8pm for a virtual presentation about finding migrating birds in McLean County by Angelo Capparella, ISU Emeritus Professor of Vertebrate Zoology, John Wesley Powell Audubon Chapter Conservation Chair, and a member of the McLean County Greenways Advisory Committee. Angelo will share the best places to birdwatch and which species we might expect to find.

This program is sponsored by McLean County Greenways in cooperation with Bloomington Public Library and is open to people of all ages.
