Woodland Wildflowers

On Monday, March 11th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mennonite Church of Normal, Dr. John Marlin (Urbana) will discuss pollination of a variety of woodland wildflowers. He will also provide some insights on seed dispersal. Part of the presentation will consider the numbers of pollinator species (especially bees) likely to be supported by varying mixes of flowering plants. The overall focus will be on the importance of providing a variety of plants and other resources to encourage maintenance of ecological diversity.
