Parklands Foundation Volunteer Opportunity at Moon Preserve
On Saturday, August 26th, join Parklands stewards at the Moon Preserve to help remove invasive plant species that threaten the efforts to restore the prairie with native plants. We will meet at the Moon Preserve sign on Carvers Road at 8:30 A.M. It is located across the road from the former Girl Scout Camp. No experience is needed!
We plan to work from 8:30 – 12:00. Join us for an hour or for the morning, we would greatly appreciate any amount of time you have to offer. Please plan to wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirts and bring work gloves, sunscreen/bug spray. Tools will be provided.
