JWP Spring Bird Walk

What better way to spend Mother’s Day than on a bird walk with local bird expert and veterinarian Matt Fraker? (NOTE that we meet at 8:30 a.m.) Bring your mom, or bring someone who has been an otherwise important influence on your life. Matt will have some snacks as well. Wear your hiking shoes, as Matt’s property has a bit of terrain. For those who are interested, Matt could also tag on a snake hunt (just finding them, not hurting them!). There would be ample time to depart if snakes aren’t your thing. Bird walks are appropriate for all ages and all skill levels. (Seriously, there is no pressure to know anything about birds! We can give you some tips, or you can just walk along with us and appreciate us appreciating the birds.) We even have 3 pairs of loaner binoculars!
