Chairperson; City of Bloomington

Katie Ruder was appointed to the McLean County Regional Planning Commission in August 2023 and brings a background in regulatory compliance and risk management. Katie has served as a member of the Executive Committee since 2024. Katie represents the City of Bloomington.

 Katie's focus as a member of the Commission is to help increase public visibility and engagement with MCRPC staff, plans and programs.

 Katie is a resident of Bloomington and is also active with the Kingsley Junior High Promise Council and the Central Illinois Masters Swim Team. She holds a BA from North Central College and a Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
