Jennifer Sicks, AICP

Transportation Planner

Jennifer Sicks is the senior transportation planner for McLean County Regional Planning Commission. She has managed the transportation program, notably the extensive East Side Highway study process, and has also been part of municipal and county comprehensive planning efforts.

Sicks grew up in Bloomington-Normal, but headed east to attend Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. After earning her bachelor’s in political science, Sicks spent 18 years as a litigation/intellectual property paralegal in Philadelphia. In 1999, she came home to Illinois to enter the master’s program in urban planning at the University of Illinois. She joined McLean County Regional Planning Commission as transportation planner in 2001.
